LPG Tanker Disha Carrying 28 Indian Crew Attacked In Iranian Waters


A Mozambique-flagged liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanker carrying 28 Indian crew members came under attack in Iranian territorial waters on Friday.
India’s Embassy in Tehran said the vessel, DISHA, was attacked earlier in the day and confirmed that all Indian crew members were safe.
According to a statement posted by India’s Embassy in Tehran on X, the Mozambique-flagged LPG tanker DISHA came under attack in Iranian territorial waters earlier on Friday.
It said the vessel has 28 Indian nationals on board and that the embassy has remained in close contact with the relevant authorities. Authorities have not said who was behind the attack or whether the tanker suffered any damage.
