Voyage Planner
The AAJS Voyage Planner is an interactive bunker-cost estimation tool designed to help shipowners, operators, charterers and maritime professionals assess the estimated fuel cost of a voyage. By combining vessel fuel consumption, voyage duration and selected marine fuel assessments, users can calculate estimated costs for Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO) and Marine Gas Oil (MGO) across three major bunkering hubs: Rotterdam, Singapore and Houston.
Each fuel grade can be calculated independently, allowing users to examine individual fuel requirements or combine both grades into an integrated voyage fuel-cost estimate. The port selectors draw on the corresponding AAJS bunker-price data, helping users compare estimated expenditure between reference locations and assess how fuel procurement choices may affect voyage economics.
Enter the relevant daily consumption and total sea days, select the preferred bunkering port and calculate the cost for each fuel grade required. Where both grades are used, the integrated calculation combines their subtotals into a single estimated fuel-cost overview.
The results are intended for planning and comparative purposes. Actual bunker expenditure will depend on the quantity and grade of fuel purchased, the final agreed price, and any additional costs not included in the calculation.
