Indian Seafarer Among 5 Killed By Somali Pirates On Hijacked Tanker Amidst Rescue Mission


Five crew members lost their lives to Somali Pirates during a rescue mission to free their ship. The incident occurred when authorities launched a mission to save the crew of the hijacked petroleum products tanker MT Honour 25, which had been seized by armed men in April.
The ship had 17 crew members, of whom 5 were shot by the pirates. Among the deceased, three were from Pakistan, one each from Myanmar and India.
